There is a lot of debate about the new open feature called Sitelink Extensions. Some people love them, other think it's just Google's way of making people bid more at the top for positions to make them appear.
Personally, I think it's one of those things that is good when in moderation. I would recommend you add them to your account, make them stand out and make them count. Do not worry about your positioning or let it affect your bidding strategy, as they are not worth the hassle.
Google say they increase business and Click Through Rate by 25%, but again, you must remember their incentives!
To install them, simply follow these steps:
- Login to you account.
- Go into the campaign settings of the campaign you wish to add them to.
- scroll down to the Sitelinks extension, and go crazy!
Remember, make them relevant to the campaign as they must follow all this criteria to show:
- You ad must be on the left hand side of the results.
- The Sitelinks must be relevant to the keywords.
- They must link into real pages.

Good luck, and increase that Return on Investment!
